I am having SERIOUS wedding fever lately. Now that Spring is just around the corner, more and more wedding invitations will be arriving in the mail and I am super excited! I also have a couple of friends that are moving in the Spring, so I thought that this post could apply to a number of events.
I found this website called “LinenSource” and I absolutely love their products and site. Not only do they have linens galore (bedspreads, sheets, quilts, comforters, table linens, bath linens, blankets and throws), but they also have wall hangings, furniture, apparel, rugs, window coverings and so much more!
These are all fantastic gift ideas for a wedding or housewarming gift. They also have a bargain basement with some great deals. Saving money is never a bad thing, right?
I am going to a housewarming party tomorrow night and I can’t wait! My best friend and her husband bought a house two months ago. They are all settled in and it’s already painted and decorated. I give them huge props for this because I moved seven months ago and still have a couple of boxes in the basement. They are expecting a baby in December though, so they have a time limit in which they are trying to get things done. I think I’m most excited to see the nursery!
I got them a little date night movie gift basket and in it is this microwave popcorn popper, a container of popcorn, some fun seasonings, and a couple of great new release movies. I love gift baskets and I have to say that this one is great!
In the last house I lived in, I had a stackable washer and dryer in the bathroom. This made it a little bit crowded, but I would always put my towel in the dryer before I jumped in the shower. That way, when I was done showering, I could wrap up in a nice warm towel. This was amazing and something that I definitely miss!
My boyfriend knew this and got me a towel warmer for my birthday. Since I don’t have a dryer in the bathroom at my new place, it’s a great way to compensate. I was thinking, and a towel warmer would make a great housewarming gift or wedding present. It could be placed in the bathroom yet would make a great addition outside of a hot tub or swimming pool. What do you think?
I’ve moved plenty of times in my life. I could provide plenty of moving tips to anybody that wanted to know!
From time to time, our close family and friends or new neighbors would bring us a housewarming gift. What a sweet gesture! I thought I would pass along the kindness to our new neighbors.
I put together a small gift basket of things that are both useful and fun.
First off, a bottle of wine to celebrate. You don’t have to spend an arm and a leg, but just a bottle that’s nice to drink.
Second would have to be WoodWick Candles. These can make a home feel so cozy, especially for a house with things that aren’t all the way unpacked.
Lastly, a pack of nails/screws and a hammer are perfect. There is going to be PLENTY of things that need to be hung on the wall. These are go-to tools, and even if the new neighbors already have these, it never hurts to have more!
It seems like everybody is moving into new homes! I heard on the radio the other day that interest rates on mortgages are at an all time low. This is making it easier and much more do-able for people to purchases homes.
I’ve been looking online everywhere for a range of housewarming gifts in a variety of prices. Today, I found this Aspen 3-Drawer Spice Rack Drop Leaf Kitchen Cart (say that ten times fast… I dare you!). It provides extra storage space in the kitchen without taking up too much room. This is the perfect addition, especially for those that love to bake delicious goods and treats. This could easily be put in the middle of a kitchen and used as an island where bar stools could be set up on one or two sides of the cart for dining and socializing.
