Idea #1: fill a jar with smaller, cute household items. This can include hand soap, sponges, a dish towel, washcloth, a couple of clothes pins, or any other small items that are necessities.

Idea #2: this idea is equally as practical and super cute. It may not be the most unique gift in the world, but it will get USED and that’s all that matters. Every Sunday, my family and I get together and have a nice family cooked meal. We are extremely close and enjoy each other’s company. This weekly meal keeps us updated on each other’s lives and is a great way to never lose touch. I love the opportunity to see my nieces and nephews grow up as well.

My mom is the one that always offers to cook and host. We all appreciate it so much! This is a huge responsibility and I always want to make sure that we aren’t burdoning her.

We all agree that she needs a new set of pots and pans. The ones she has right now she has had for as long as I can remember. For Mother’s Day, we decided to update her set and get her a new set of Le Creuset pots and pans. These are top of the line and I know she’s going to love them. This is also a way to thank her for the countless meals that have been prepared for us.

April is here! This means that Mother’s Day is coming up next month. March sure went fast I need to get a move on with my Mother’s Day shopping. There are many wonderful mothers in my life that I want to show support to: my grandmothers, mother, aunt and a couple of other fantastic women in my life.

My mom is a book worm. She is always at the library checking out books for her book club and personal use. I have gotten her everything from a Kindle to bookmarks in the past and this year, instead of another book, I will be getting her an accessory to support her reading in bed. She reads every night before she turns out the lights and I know she’s going to love this Bed Lounge Bed Pillow. It’s like a small piece of furniture this fits perfectly in bed and provides more support than pillows ever could.

One of my favorite date nights include putting on my favorite pajamas, watching a movie, sharing a blanket  and a freshly popped bowl of popcorn. Call me crazy, but this is so much better than a night out. I love being in my own home with candles burning and our dogs all snuggled up with us.

I found this microwave popcorn popper and know that it’s going to be so much easier to use than the traditional stovetop method. It will save time and prevent a huge mess! It’s easy to clean and store.

I am going to surprise my man with this for our next date night. Since he is always on popcorn duty, he’s definitely going to be excited for this one!

My husband is always complaining about our bed. He doesn’t find it to be very comfortable. I can’t justify going out and buying a new bed already, because ours wasn’t cheap and is only two years old.
